At the age of sixteen – he’s been working professionally since he was 10 – he releases his first solo show of his career. The musical repertoire was created from his different experiences such as: Sertanejo, country music, romantic ballads, pop and rock. Everything gets mixed on his musical taste. Victor Santos is in a point of his life where he has accumulated experience on stage that merits him thousands of accesses on internet. In his first videos, he accompanies his father, the singer Louro Santos, with whom he played with for six years. In his most recent video clips, Tenho Medo and Entre quatro paredes, the artist became more independent, reaffirming his romantic singing style and in pursuit of success.

THE BEGINNING – More than forty thousand people were waiting at the square for one more show of the singer Louro Santos. That night he was reserving a surprise to the audience. When Louro announces the arrival of the “special guest”, Victor, a little handsome boy with delicate appearance, gets on the stage and surprises the audience with his voice with an absolut refinement and extension. He showed for the first time a talent that his whole family knew since he was five years old, when he was already singing, showing impressive love and vocation for the music.

Five years after the first presentation, that special participation turned into a solo career that accumulates thousands of miles on the roads throughout Brazil, millions of fans, millions of accesses to videos on Youtube, new hits, success on radios and the CD and DVD, entitled Encontro Marcado, that will hit Brazilian stores soon.

Time passes by, and Victor is not a little boy anymore. The songs he sung when he was still part of the duo, revealed his particular mark, his own and inevitable path. Victor started his solo career. That romantic ballad reveals that the “passionate” style from the beginning of his career keeps being strong. Victor identifies himself with this kind of song, he has the perfect voice for, fans like it and he finally represents a trend that never goes out of fashion, but on the other hand, never had a teen representative who could sing successes, international pop ballads – he speaks flawless English – such as I’ll be there, Ben, Yesterday, Love of my life, Crying in the rain – as well as electronic dance music, like Glad you came, from the Londoner band The Wanted.

 “I grew up listening to a little bit of everything at home. The romantic records that my grandfather listened (the composer J. Michiles from Pernambuco), the 80’s successes that my father usually performed at parties, the electronic forró that he played with his band, then the music downloaded by me and my friends to listen at home and in our parties from artists like Michael Jackson, Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta, Adele. All of these are on my memory and in the music repertoire that I sing in the show and it’s on my CD. I like songs that touch people, it could be a slow ballad, a pop country or a stirring rhythm, says Victor. “I just don’t like being labeled. I want to have the freedom to sing the songs I like and feel that my public like them”, adds the idol. According to the growing number of fans that demonstrate their affection for Victor, in the concerts and on social networks, his thought is correct. First of all there is emotion in music. The ones who watch his shows know that.
